Indian Railways have over 400 No. of Traction Sub Stations (TSS) and a large no. of infrastructure assets like administrative buildings, hospitals, pumping installations, loco sheds, major Railway Stations and workshops. Due to specific layout, patron of energy consumption, energy audit of similar assets has revealed almost similar finding which are implemented progressively as part of policy guidelines.
